Bahá’í Community in Bangladesh

Bahá’ís living in all parts of the country work together with everyone in society.

The Bahá’í community of Bangladesh is an integral part of this country’s society — made up of people in cities and villages, from many professions and backgrounds. Embracing the language, culture and heritage of the nation, they work with their neighbours and friends in the education of children, the empowerment of junior youth and the strengthening of harmony in society.

The administrative affairs of the Bahá’ís of Bangladesh are directed by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Bangladesh, elected each year at the National Convention. In many localities, Local Spiritual Assemblies look after the affairs of the local community.

In this section you can learn about the history of the Bahá’í community in Bangladesh, its community life and its contributions to the well-being of the nation.
