Bahá’ís believe that one of the purposes of religion is to contribute to the betterment of society. In Bangladesh, the Bahá’í community and Bahá’í-inspired initiatives work in areas such as education, the equality of women and men, the moral development of young people and the promotion of harmony among people of different faiths.
Taking part, alongside government bodies, civil society and other social actors, in conversations about the progress of society is also part of this effort.
